Here are some photos of our activities the last week. Here we are comparing fractions and decimals in our Maths groups.
We are looking at the affects of weathering. We first made some clay sand balls. Once these balls hardened, we placed each ball in a jar of water. One jar we left as is, another jar was shaken for 3 minutes and the last jar was shaken for 6 minutes. We compared our results at the end of our investigation. Some clay sand balls weathered away straight away!
We had an exciting afternoon yesterday at our Game Changer session. Well done to the Year 5 and 6's who led the session. All the students were mixed and regrouped to form small groups of all grades! Each team had a box full of random materials. They had 30 minutes as a team to come up with new board game! It was exciting to see all the creative board games every team created.
Here we are having some fun in History. We are dramatising some scenes from the Age of Discovery period in History.
