Term 1 Week 11 Activities in 4MB

Wow! I can't believe that we are at the end of Term 1. I am very pleased with the effort and perseverance everyone demonstrated in 4MB this term. I hope to keep this momentum going for the remainder of the year.

Here are some photos of us doing some warm up drama activities from earlier this week. We played a game of 'Knife and Fork' where the students had to communicate with their partners non-verbally to make certain pictures.



In Maths this week we played a game of 'Deal or No Deal' to help with the understanding of probability. The object of the game was to win the most amount of money. Behind each clipboard  were dollar amounts ranging from $0.05 to $100 000. The student at the front had to pick a random clipboard to be revealed. Throughout the game, a bank offer was given to change the probability of earning more money. The game ended up being very intense with the $100 000 jackpot  left in the last 2 clipboards. You will see the photos when the $100 000 jackpot was revealed and the class won the highest amount. The students thoroughly enjoyed playing this game!
