Activities in Year 4

Maths: Here we are working on division with smarties. We were looking at the different ways we can group smarties to find out the factors in numbers.


Health: Here we are playing a game of Scrunch and Score. A great way to consolidate our learning from the week and build our team working skills. In pairs, students had to answer questions based on our learning from the week. Once you and your partner write down your answer, you have to attempt to throw your answer sheet into the recycling bin! We discussed various ways on how to encourage your team.


Science: Here we are having fun in Science experimenting with heat transfer. We put a coloured ice cube in hot water to see the effects of convection. We also melted some ice in our hands to see the effects of conduction.
